Return & Refund Policy

At Gammas Art Gallery, we are privileged to curate a unique assortment of exquisite Thangka paintings, each one handcrafted by highly skilled artisans nestled in the tranquil heartland of Nepal and Tibet. Our collection reflects the fusion of profound spirituality, intricate artistry, and traditional craftsmanship. Each artwork, thus, is not merely an object, but a priceless heirloom, carrying with it a fragment of our shared human heritage.

Our Quality Assurance

Every piece of art that graces our collection undergoes a scrupulous inspection and certification process. This painstaking approach ensures that only the very best, those that meet our stringent quality benchmarks, make their way into the gallery.

Appreciating the Thangka Distinctiveness

The nature of Thangka paintings - their uniqueness, their delicate fabrication, and their cultural significance - makes each piece a unique embodiment of tradition and skill. Minor nuances in detail and form are a part of this charm, adding to the individual character of each artwork rather than detracting from its overall beauty.

Pre-Purchase Assistance

Recognising the importance of an informed decision, we encourage you to engage with our knowledgeable staff for a comprehensive understanding of any artwork that piques your interest. We are more than willing to provide additional photographs, detailed narratives, or any supplementary information, ensuring you appreciate every facet of your chosen piece before completing your purchase.

Our Promise

Our commitment to you extends beyond the artwork you choose to take home. It involves providing an exceptional experience of art appreciation, informed decision-making, and post-purchase satisfaction. We value your trust in Gammas Art Gallery, and we strive to meet and exceed your expectations at every step of this artistic journey.

Our Return Philosophy

Given the delicate nature of Thangka paintings, the bespoke nature of our artworks and their irreplaceable artistic value, we typically do not offer returns or exchanges. This mirrors the practices of many prestigious galleries worldwide dealing in one-of-a-kind, fragile artworks. The sale of each masterpiece is a significant event, marking the transition of a piece of cultural heritage to its new home. However, to ensure you are entirely satisfied with your purchase, we invite you to request additional images and information about your chosen artworks before finalising your order.

Managing Unforeseen Issues

Despite the careful measures we employ, if you encounter any significant defects or damages on the receipt of your painting, we request you to get in touch with us within 24 hours of delivery at info@gammas.com, outlining the details of the defect. We approach such instances with a highly personalised, case-by-case strategy, aiming to resolve any concerns to your satisfaction.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned artwork, we will notify you via email about the findings. If it is determined that you are entitled to a replacement or refund due to the defect, we will promptly process it using your original payment method within seven business days.

Guidelines for Safe Returns

In the rare event where a return is warranted due to substantial defects, we kindly urge you to retain the original packaging and condition of the artwork for the return journey. This is to ensure the safety and integrity of these incredibly delicate works of art.

Please be aware that return shipping, along with any associated duties or customs fees, will be the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend that all returns are insured and tracked, as this offers the best protection for these valuable pieces during transit. Kindly note that refunds do not cover any shipping and handling charges that were shown on the packaging slip or invoice.

For guidance on returning the artwork you purchased, please email us at info@gammas.com. We will then provide the most suitable address to mail your return. Our commitment extends to ensuring your return process is as smooth and effortless as possible, demonstrating the same meticulous care and attention that goes into each of our unique Thangka paintings.

Repairs and Restorations

In the unfortunate event that your Thangka painting suffers damage over time or due to unforeseen circumstances, we are more than happy to assist with repairs and restorations. Our team of art restoration professionals in Nepal are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and passion to bring your treasured artwork back to its original glory.

As part of our ongoing commitment to serving our patrons, we provide complimentary art consultations. These sessions are designed to help you explore your aesthetic preferences, better understand the spiritual significance of Thangka paintings, and provide insight into how to care for and preserve these invaluable pieces.

Respecting Artistic Heritage

Your patronage not only supports the livelihoods of our artists in Nepal but also contributes to the recognition and longevity of this priceless art form.

Thank you for your understanding, for your appreciation of the unique allure of Thangka paintings, and for joining us on this exciting voyage of cultural discovery and preservation.
